On the afternoon of September 27th, our school held a meeting on the work of 100 doctors entering enterprises in 2023, attended by Yi Bing, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president of our school, and presided over by Wei Kexiang, member of the Party Committee and vice president. Relevant responsible staff from Personnel Department, Academic Affairs Office, Science and Technology Department, Humanities and Social Sciences Development Center and other departments, as well as presidents of various teaching colleges, vice presidents in charge of scientific research, and doctors of enterprise service attended the symposium.

   Zhou Zhou, deputy director of the Science and Technology Department, briefed doctors' service activities in enterprises, introduced the achievements made since the activities were launched, and suggested doctors to further engage in enterprises' work.

   "Fully promote innovation, industrial upgrading, and management improvement, so that enterprises can embark on a professional, refined and characteristic development path." "Solve the technical problems that restrict the development of enterprises, help them apply for various science and technology projects, accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into economic benefits, and empower the high-quality economic and social development of Xiangtan City." "Give full play to our professional background, vision and resource to help enterprises develop." Ten doctors reported their work and gains in enterprises, and shared their understanding and experience of doctors' service activities in enterprises.

   At the symposium, Yi Bing expressed his heartfelt thanks to the teachers for taking time out to participate in enterprise activities, actively serving the society and striving to promote our school's image. He pointed out that the service activity of doctors in enterprises is a landmark change in the work of production, education and research in our school, and a concrete manifestation of organized scientific research, which is conducive to achieving a win-win situation between schoools and enterprises. It realizes project sharing, platform-co-construction, talent training and achievement sharing between both parties. The school will provide more opportunities for doctors who work in enterprises, so that they can work in enterprises with motivation and concentrate on research. Also, scientific research management departments should intensify publicity and hold regular experiences sharing meeting to let more teachers participate in this activity.
